- Meat Breakfast box includes:- bacon, sausages and bread from local suppliers, mushrooms, vine ripened tomatoes, Welsh butter, eggs from local hens, orange juice, A selection of preserves, croissants and Danish pastries.
- Vegetarian Breakfast box includes:- A loaf of bread from a local supplier (depending on availability), mushrooms, vine ripened tomatoes, Welsh butter, eggs from local hens, vegetarian sausages, orange juice, a selection of preserves, croissants and pastries, Welsh yoghurt, muesli, fresh seasonal fruit.
- This will feed two people for at least two mornings or four people for one morning (if your really hungry). If you want to add anything or substitute anything then please just let us know.
- Flowers from Troflora of Painscastle – colours can be of your choice, subject to availability
- Celebration pack – we can decorate your pod for your arrival – choose the colour/s and we will decorate with banners and balloons.
Booking Information
Are you open all year? Yes.
Can I pay a deposit to make the booking? We take a 25% deposit at the time of booking with the remaining balance due 28 days before arrival.
How can I add extras after I’ve already booked? After booking please give us a call on 07841815431 or email greathousefarmpods@gmail.com and we can add extras to your booking.
Is there a hot tub with each accommodation? Yes, there is an electric hot tub with each accommodation.
What if I need to cancel? Please see our cancellation policy – see booking conditions document below.
Do you take group bookings? We accept bookings from the following; families, couples, groups aged 18 and over (by prior arrangement).
What time can we check in from and what time do we need to check out? Check in is from 3pm in the pods and check out is by 10.00am. In Old Great House, check in is at 4.00pm.
Can we book the whole site? You can book all the glamping accommodation and our self catering farmhouse.
Can we bring our dog with us? Yes, we allow two dogs per accommodation (must be kept on a lead) per stay at an additional charge of £10.00 per dog. We are able to accept 2 dogs in Old Great House. If the site is quiet and/or your dogs are smaller then please speak to us – we look to accommodate additional pets where we can.
What do I need to bring with me? Clothes and food – we provide your linen, towels, complimentary toiletries, washing up liquid and cloths, etc, a small starter bundle of firewood, lighters and matches.
Are the pods warm in the colder weather? Yes – they are extremely well insulated and you have a radiator (2 in the Wye and 5 in the Severn) to adjust the temperature. (Please note that the pods are eco-friendly and the heating will automatically switch off when doors are left open.
What heating is in Old Great House? We have central heating and a wood burner in the house.
Is this a large site? No – we have four pods (7 from April 2026) on the site only and our farmhouse (with an additional 3 from later this year) – so you are guaranteed peace, quiet and stunning views. The farmhouse is about 200 metres from the pods.
