Old Great House Farmhouse offers the very best in self catering and we provide you with everything you need for your stay (all kitchen equipment, linen, towels, etc).
We fully renovated the farmhouse between 2021 and May 2022 and have retained many of the traditional features and have period furniture in most rooms. The farmhouse can accommodate up to 10 people and includes the following:
- Master bedroom (sleeps 2, with comfy seating area)
- 3 further bedrooms on the second floor – one queen, one double and one twin
- 1 open plan bedroom with separate room with sofa and coffee table on the third floor
- Sitting room with large wood burner
- “Middle room” with seating area and TV
- Small library/board games
- Fully equipped traditional kitchen with range cooker, microwave, kettle toaster and fridge freezer
- Luxury bedding
- Ensuite shower room and bathroom on lower floor with roll top bath and shower.
- Towels (including towels for the hot tub)
- Hot running water and sink
- Radiators throughout
- Large wood burning stove
- Plates, bowls, cutlery, pots and pans, cups and glasses
- Tin opener, bottle/wine opener, spatula, two knives, chopping board, wooden spoons, cooking tongs and a whisk

- Garden area with decking
- Fire pit including a cooking grill for use as a BBQ

“Family run business with great attention to detail, we stayed at the 16th century farmhouse which has been tastefully renovated keeping many original features. From booking to arrival, communication was exceptional, Lynne was there to welcome and show us around.
The farmhouse was spotless, the standard of everything is excellent. Great night sleep on super comfy beds. Beautiful inglenook fire for those chilled evenings and a sun trap of a patio for the evening drinks. Lovely farmhouse style kitchen for family dinners.
Wood supplied for the log burner and fire pit, daily quality checks to the hot tub, you just text for a delivery of fresh eggs.
Friends joined us to stay over for 1 night and this was no problem for Lynne.
The location is very rural so don’t expect to be able to pop down the shop or pub, but in return you get peace and tranquility with the only sounds being the woodpecker in the tree or the sheep in the fields.
Great Welsh hospitality from all the family, if the farmhouse is too big you should give the pods a try!”
