April 2024 – We are excited to announce that we will be running our first wellbeing and personal development retreat later this year.

We will guide you through a range of activities and tools drawn from coaching, reflective practice and wellbeing. All facilitated by a highly experienced coach and learning facilitator. There will be opportunities for “add on” holistic treatments, meeting and engaging with our farm animals and guided walks in the stunning Radnorshire countryside. We will also be working with a range of local practitioners, who we have personally used and who we consider the best in their field – details to follow.

March 2024 – we are proud to sponsor the t-shirts for Builth Wells YFC who are heading to represent Brecknock in the Wales YFC Drama finals with their production of the 39 Steps Abridged.

April 2024 – Builth Wells YFC represented Wales at the National Finals in Leamington Spa and were placed second – congratulations.

October 2023 – We are very proud to say that we won the Start Up Business Category at the Powys Business Awards – thank you to all our guests for supporting our business, to the team at Great House Farm and everyone who has helped and supported us along the way.

August 2023 – We are very pleased to say that we are a finalist in the Powys Business Awards for start up business. We look forward to welcoming the filming crew and judges in the next month or so and attending the Awards Ceremony in Newtown in October.

21st June 2023 – We are excited to be able to open our Severn pod today to guests – we hope you will like it as much as we do – remember to follow us on Facebook, Instagram (great.house.farm) and Tik Tok (Great House Farm) for all the latest updates.

25th May 2023 – The first external photo of our Severn Pod that is now on site and will be open for stays in 4 weeks!! Follow us on Facebook and Instagram (great.house.farm) for all the latest updates.

6th April 2023 – we are excited to show you the very first photo of the interior of the Severn pod that is currently in construction – we have 3 large windows at the front of the pod to enjoy stunning views over the Breconshire countryside. We have two bedrooms and our popular bunk beds. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram (great.house.farm) for all the latest updates.

January 1st 2023 – our Severn Pod is open for bookings today (to start from mid June 2023). This sleeps up to 8 people and is the ultimate in pod luxury. This includes a hot tub and patio area. Our Severn pod will only be available to book direct through our website until the end of June 2023.

December 25th 2022 – we welcome new arrivals to the farm. Barney (the brown donkey) and Pablo arrived with us for Christmas. They are 2 year old boys and we are settling them in to their new environment.

When they are fully settled we will put them in the field below the pods to meet our guests. They will be with our calves and pet sheep.

November 2022 – we are offering a discount of 20% for all 4 night or more stays between 1st November 2022 and 28th February 2023 – add in code 4NIGHTWINTER when you book through our website

August 2022 – want to stay at Old Great House in September? We have discounted our last dates – 11th to 16th (5 nights) and 19th to 24th (5 nights), now £800 – sleeps up to 10 people with a hot tub.

We have been very busy fully renovating Old Great House Farmhouse – this is nearing completion and will be available for bookings from early 2022 – this is a 16th century house that will sleep up to 10 people.
